Finding Laughter in Cajun Culture

The Couyons of Comedy are a comedic group changing the rules of comedy. On a Gulf South tour, they are hitting historic theaters in small towns that have never had or have not had comedy in a long time. These events are not just a spotlight and microphone either, they consist of a full production of lighting and music. Besides laughter, you never really know what to expect at a Couyons of Comedy show.

Our Story

Coming together from past collaborations, the Couyons of Comedy have a perfect balance of stand-up, skit, and parody comedy for adult or age appropriate shows. The Couyons are performing all over the Gulf South, but branching out to a venue near you.

DJ Rhett

The Cajun King of Chaos - Comedian

The headliner of the group, and a multifaceted entertainer and entrepreneur hailing from South Louisiana. At 48 years old, he has carved a niche for himself as a comedian, DJ, content creator, and business owner, all while celebrating and promoting Cajun culture.

Bee Gee

The Gnome Man - Comedian

Bee Gee is a retired Army veteran, husband and father of four who takes his life events and stories and shares them with the audience in absolutely hilarity! Bee Gee has performed all over the lower 48 performing on comedy festivals such as the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival in California and the Wild West Comedy Festival in Texas. Bee Gee has opened for comedians John Morgan and Keenan Thompson, although they probably don’t remember him as much as he remembers them. Bee Gee reaches for his gnome magic and delivers funny.

Dana Boucher

Bayou Bougie- comedian

Cajun grit meets sharp wit in Dana Boucher, a comedian who turns struggle into satire and chaos into comedy. With a Bayou Bougie edge and a voice that’s both unfiltered and empowering, she delivers punchlines that cut deep and linger long after the laugh. Dana doesn’t just work a stage, she owns it, reminding audiences that grit can be glamorous and funny as hell.

J Troutt

Twerk - Comedian

A high-energy comedian who uses laughter to uplift and inspire. Driven by faith and hard work, he’s all about bringing joy, positivity, and a break from the everyday through comedy. Being part of this group is a dream come true—and when he hits the stage, expect big laughs, good vibes, and crowds already asking for a return show. Get ready to laugh ‘til your abs hurt.
